Chispa woke me up at +11 this morning, meowing furiously and tracking litter ALL OVER the bed. I knew I would have to feed her, so I tested first and couldn’t believe my eyes. I gave her a meal of 0%, went back to bed, and then REALLY could not believe my eyes at AMPS. Aren’t they supposed to rise at the end of a cycle? And when they have food, even if it’s 0%??

I think Miss Chispa heard us talking smack about her and decided to throw me a bone at last. I can’t wait to see what else she has up her sleeve.

ETA: She is weirdly not that hungry today. AND she left a completely non-stinky poop in the LB. -????-

With diet controlled cats the bg comes down 3-4 hours after eating. When tightly controlled you often see nice flat curves. Go Chispa!

Could the explanation really be as simple as that? Because I was thinking that aliens had abducted my cat and replaced her with an identical clone.

Lol, Diane — I’m afraid I might have, for despite the super helpful and repeatedly bumped sticky on how to adapt to to Daylight Savings Time, I still managed to screw it up. The problem is that I was aiming toward being out tonight at dinner time tonight and possibly getting home late — while completely forgetting that I have to go in to the office tomorrow morning, and the latest I can shoot will be 8:45 a.m. And I won’t be around to test all day.

I will have to move her shot time up by 30 minutes tonight (9:15) and tomorrow (8:45). My question is, since I won’t be home tomorrow to test, should I reduce the dose by .25 starting tonight to keep her safe? I can leave two MC or HC meals in the feeder, but higher carbs don’t always stop her from dropping, rebel that she is.
