Hi LL,

Getting a late start today because we've been so busy packing  Hate moving, but it's a good thing. I think K is a little stressed out by all the movement, but other than that, he is doing fine. He got some new toys yesterday which he has been having a ball with. I have a lot of grading to get done, so I am going to start plugging away at that with the rest of the evening. I will be back later to visit everyone's condos.

Thinking of Judy today and sending my deepest condolences, and sending healing vines out to Tip, Noni, Angie, Gobbles, Mannie and all other puds and beans in need. Congrats to Muffin and Anne for making it back to the Falls... please save us a spot!

Thank you everyone who visited us yesterday that I didn't get a chance to respond to. I didn't post at all last night (not even his PMPS updates) because was busy on the phone with my step-mom. Her Mother (who is like a grandmother to me) is not doing well. She just had surgery to remove a very large cancerous mass from her bladder last week, and is now back in the hospital in the ICU after suffering a mild heart attack yesterday. It's not looking good, and they think that the cancer has metastasized and spread to other parts of her body. They discovered a blockage in her bowel (the pain of which is likely what triggered the heart attack). She is a double radical mastectomy breast cancer survivor, and also had colon cancer 20 years ago. Please keep her in your thoughts and/or prayers.

I hope everyone has a nice day.

Oh, wow - Courtney - you have a lot going on right now! I hate moving, too, actually I mostly hate the unpacking part...wish I could find a genie for that. ;-) I'm sorry to hear your grandma is going through so much. I'll be praying for her and for your family.

Kismet is sure looking good! And, so sweet of him to stay in safe numbers while you have so much claiming your attention! :-D

Hope you get some grading/packing done AND get some sleep!

Libby (& Hershey, too!)

Re: 3/12 Kismet AMPS 147, +5 89, +7 86, +9 86

HI Libby, thanks for stopping by and for your well wishes. I do have a lot going on, and this is supposed to be my "spring break" I should be working on my own three term papers at this time, too, but there just aren't enough hours in a day. A genie to help with the packing (and the grading, too) would be amazing! Where's Mary Poppins when you need her? ;-)

Kis is being very cooperative, and as far as stress factors go, he is not one of them for a change! He usually keeps me on my toes... (anti-jinx.)

Hi Courtney,

So sorry to hear that your step-DGma is not doing well. We will be thinking good thoughts for her. She sounds like a very tough woman (reminds me of my dear friend who had similar experiences with cancer over several decades; these women are amazing survivors and your grandma may very well be able to surmount this latest obstacle).

I guess that no time is ever a good time to move! Hang in there. Kismet, keep on doing such a good job. Lookin' great in

Hugs and scritches,

Ella & Rusty

Hi Courtney, oh I know how stressful is moving, as I've done it more than a few times here trying to upgrade and also staying within means. It's nice once settled and meeting new neighbors. Keeping your step DGMa in my prayers and thoughts. Thanks for your visit to Maggie and me.
What a nice slide for Kismet today.

Re: 3/12 Kismet AMPS 147, +5 89, +7 86, +9 86

Nice surf in the lagoon, Kismet!  Now stay there, ok? Healing vines for DGM, wow, she is one tough lady. Paws crossed for the move to go smoothly. Sounds like a real pain, much worse than grading.

Re: 3/12 Kismet AMPS 147, +5 89, +7 86, +9 86

Hi Courtney - good luck with the moving! It has been decades since I have had to do that, but I remember so well.... I hope Kismet handles it well. Mine gt stressed out with just a suitcase, I can't imagine what a move would do. Good luck!

What a nice cycle for Kismet today. Another green day! kismet you so totally rock!

Positive thoughts for your Dstep-GM. I hope things will be OK for her.

Good luck with all that grading!

Re: 3/12 Kismet AMPS 147, +5 89, +7 86, +9 86, PMPS 110

Ella, Ann, Liz, Michelle, and Amy --- thank you all for stopping by and for your well wishes!

DGma is a tough cookie and has been through a lot. We always joke that heaven doesn't want her, and hell is afraid she'd take over, and that's why she has beat death so many times. I'm afraid that some of that fight has gone out of her, though. My DGpa passed about 5 years ago, and it has been very tough on her. She'd been cancer free for 19 years, and 19 years ago when she had her last bout with colon cancer, we thought we were going to lose her. I'm very worried about my DSM, who is not coping with it well.

Kismet is having a great day, though  I hope he will surf safely tonight and let me get some work done! I hope everyone has a lovely evening.

Courtney, sending many positive thoughts to your DGma.
And sending ((hugs)) to you and your DSM.

Scritches to Kismet ~ great numbers lately!

Hi Josie, Thank you!

I really appreciate all the good wishes and support from our FDMB family. :YMHUG: You guys are the best. Sometimes, coming here is the highlight of my day (((FDMB))) Lots of help for the puds, and therapy for the beans ;-)

Kismet is having another beautiful cycle tonight. What a good boy! It's teeth brushing night (every other night) so paws crossed that he doesn't panic and give himself another asthma attack. Poor guy, wish I could give him a xanax.... In other news, I've ordered a bottle of Allerplex, hopefully it will help!
