I realized that since I started using calipers she was actually getting too much insulin. I will calculate exactly and correct my SS, but she was more probably on 4.25 until yesterday and 4 yesterday and today. I'm using the paper "scale" but I have not been using it correctly. I guess what counts is consistency and I can keep going from there, but I will correct anyway. Later today, now it's time to take my son to the dentist.
Yes, that is what I have been doing. Her snacks are a part of her regular food but she does not get more over the day. I make her regular meals smaller and she gets at least one snack each cycle. If more than one, I take from her regular meal. It's easy to do because she has raw food and I go by weight.Since she is on diet (supposedly) you want to reduce the portion sizes of these post-test snacks. Just a tsp of food is enough. And when trying to boost her numbers, just the gravy is also enough.
