Good morning all! So of course she decides that she will be low this morning. I have not fed her yet even though she clearly wants to eat! She has continued to drop from 67 to 60. Question is do I shoot her at 2.5 still once she starts to rise and hope she continues and doesn’t dip again or do I do 2.25? I know technically I should have 3 drops into the 40s on 3 different days but now what if she continues to drop without food?

Sometimes stalling causes numbers to drop without food and makes the shooting decision even harder :)

Test before you have to leave and carb her up, if necessary.
Yes I will try. Unlike lucky, she is not food motivated and she can be a stinker to get out and test as she likes to hide in the oddest of places. So when you are in a hurry, that only adds to the frustration! ;);)

Damn! Just seeing this. When do you have to leave and how long will you be gone for? Can someone feed her HC every 20 mins?
Well I have to leave by noon and there is no one else home. The problem is I can offer her food but she is a grazer so I can’t force it into her. I am goi g to check her now. I gave her KD contraband and then left mc/HC with her so I could eat breakfast and check on lucky. Still have to go to moms house and feed her cats. Ugh!

Ok she is 64 and I know it’s food induced so I will recheck in half an hour but then I have to leave to feed mom’s cats and then bring my daughter to ballet. I can check one more time before ballet run. That’s a 40 minute ride to and from before I could recheck again.

Ugh! What a morning! They really know what days to pick to act up!

Wondering if you want to take a reduction even though she hasn't earned it yet. Considering there are several days in the week when you can't test her all day when you're working?

I had a hunch she was going to do this and this is why I hesitated. I know I need to get her use to lower numbers if I want to try and get her back into remission. Part of me wants to go down a hair and part of me doesn’t bc of mornings like these. And when I do have to work, I can’t be late and my daughter will not do what I do with either one of them. I guess I’ll reassess at pmps today and decide then. For the rest of the days, I’ll take a daily mindful recap of her numbers and decide from there the other days when I’m at work. These cats !!! Geez :woot:

It's late enough in the cycle (past nadir) and she's high enough (above 80), you can probably stick with LC.
Ok. Question… if she is lower for some
Reason or under 100 at pmps, go ahead with 2.5 units still? I have to get up early to leave for a bridal shower 2 1/2 hours away tomorrow and won’t be back until after dinner in time for PMPS.

It's really hard to guess now what her PMPS or AMPS tomorrow will be. I half suspect there might be a bounce coming (don't do it Charlotte!), in which case she'd be totally safe. If you are wondering what to do tonight, maybe get a +11 and post for suggestions then.
