3/18 | Jude: AMPS 112; +9 132; PMPS 140; +3 98

Beautiful start. Sending PAWsitive vibes and thoughts your way. Hopefully you'll get some good news from the vet. Please keep us posted :cat::cat:

Thanks for the well-wishes, everyone. Jude's urinalysis shows no evidence of bacteria, and he had blood work done a little more than a month ago (which was clear of any issues), so any increase in his bg currently is related solely to the diabetes. I'm hoping that he won't have any more of these higher end cycle readings, but if he does, perhaps we should consider a dose increase. His nadirs, though, are sometimes within normal range (50 to 80). Perhaps if we bump him up a bit, he'll get within range and experience lower end cycle readings. What do you think @Bandit's Mom?

And on a separate note, Jude's vet just loves Jude and tells me all the time that "he's a special cat." He really is special--so gentle, rarely complaining when he's being poked and prodded. Thank goodness! I have five cats, and of the five, if I had to pick one that had to endure constant pricking and shots, it would be Jude. The others would not be as accommodating, I can assure you. He's a sweet, sweet boy.

So glad to read that Jude got great results at his visit today! :bighug: His profile pic shows just how special of a boy he is. I can see the sweetness in his face. :cat:

Must be a relief knowing that the bacteria has cleared out.

Hope you both have a nice evening :cat:

Sweet sweet Jude. He reminds me of Nestle so much. Nestle is also very accommodating, never complains and comes for test time when called.
They could be cousins :cat:❤️ :cat:

Great! I have been wondering about this. Paws crossed that he has knocked the UTI off once and for all!

I think a little more juice would indeed help bring his numbers down overall. He might not need it for very long. When will you be able to monitor him a little more closely? Over the weekend?

I know what you mean! I had 2 girls and my civvie was quite spicy. So glad it was Bandit who got diabetes. Was so easy to poke her and pill her. Really a sweet, gentle soul.

Yes, it would need to be this weekend. I could bump him up .25 on Thursday pm.???

So glad that the UTI is gone! Yay Jude!

He sounds like such a sweet, sweet boy! You can see it in his face too - he's got such a sweet little face! Give him some loves from Xander and me!

So glad everything went well at the vet. He is the cutest and the sweetest! Petey goes from sweet to hell kitty in about 20 seconds!
