Glad Susie seems to be feeling a bit better and hope she shows some more blues today! Hang in there mama bean - she sure is lucky to have you watching out for her :cat:

Haven't seen any blues today. I wanted to check some of the times I don't normally check just to make sure her nadir is at +6.

Suzie might be bouncing from all that blue she had yesterday. Plus yesterday was her lowest yet on Lantus. She'll get there.

I'm sorry to post twice in one day but I was checking Susie's PMPS numbers and my first reading was 190. I thought that was low so I checked again and got 272. That seemed high so I checked again and got 222. Can someone please explain the disparity in these numbers and just what reading am I supposed to accept?

So, keeping the 20% variance in mind, it's a number in the middle, close to 222. 20% below 222 is 178, and 20% above 222 is 266.

Try not to let it drive you crazy, that happens to me every so often

You can get different numbers with meter variance. I usually take the middle number. I hope Susie slides down soon.

I was also at the end of the test strips for that container so thought maybe with all the opening and closing of the bottle the strips might be getting a little old. Thanks, Carla.

I'm thinking the 2 units are where Susie should be but will continue to take it slowly. Will change to 1.75 next Tuesday and see how she does.
