Happy Thursday, everyone! I had to go in to the office early today and didn’t get to test again until +5.5, so no telling how low those numbers might have dropped in the meantime. Hoping for a bounce-free night. Another green preshot would be nice too, but those are maddeningly elusive — well, I don’t need to tell you all that. Waiting for them reminds me of spring in Maine: you get one warm sunny day and you think, “Oh thank GOD, spring is here at last!” And then it snows the next day. Two cold, rainy weeks go by and then it happens again — a warm spring day, this time for real! — but ohhhh no, you were fooled again. And then it snows and rains for days on end, and you keep hanging on by your fingernails to hope.

But eventually spring does come, even if you have to wait until June. I am not giving up. :D

No kidding Karen!!!! lol. We all need to search for a crystal ball that can accurately predict the weather and what our cats have planned for us for the day!!!!

Hi Karen ,so you are thinking about moving to Maine?
Come on Chispa give me a green PMPS tonight :bighug::cat:

Yes, moving to Maine in June! I grew up there, and my parents are still there, along with various friends and relatives, so I go back often. I’ve lived n DC for 30 years, but I’ve always been a homesick Mainer at heart. Recently I got permission from my employer to work remotely, so that’s where I’m going. I am not used to the winters, though, so I may come running back next year. We’ll see!! :nailbiting::cat:

Aww that's great to be by your parents , relatives and friends again.
That's great you can work remotely too.
Maine must be beautiful in the fall and the seafood must be delicious

It’s really beautiful in the summer and in the fall. Winters are long though, and spring doesn’t really exist — it’s more like mud season. Spring in DC is glorious — there’s just no other word for it — with the cherry blossoms and flowers and beautiful warm weather that brings everyone outside. I’m going to miss that.
