Amps 218 Libre

Ivy had a day in blue :cool:yesterday on her Libre. She’s been feeling well and eating and popping well, whew.

I always feel like I’m waiting for the other shoe to drop after going through pancreatitis last month :arghh:

She came to find me this morning when it was time for breakfast. She definitely has a built-in clock and when she shows up right on time, I know she’s feeling well, so that’s great. :cat:

Hope everyone has a calm, boring day and everyone’s surf is very uneventful :cat:

We can all have a little bit of post-traumatic stress after a rough patch, especially when things can be unpredictable. I hope you get to enjoy some peace as Ivy recovers from last month. You're caring for her so well :bighug:

She is so beautiful! I didi not come too often those last few days, I started working more out of the house since I don't need to be home as much (I am a medical interpreter, I can make my own schedule, it's very convenient), but I've been thinking about you and Ivy.

I’m glad to hear she’s doing so well, hoping she gets more blues today, Ailish might have been in evil panther mode but she still sends Ivy her regards!
 
I'm loving that she's bounced back so fast and is doing well. And that she's coming to get you when it's food time. My boys do the same. I'm convinced all cats have a small pocket watch somewhere hehe.

OMG she is so precious. And I feel all your words! Petey has not been himself the last week and it's crushing my soul. I want my purring cuddly boy back.

It is amazing how good their internal clock is!! Two minutes before my alarm he's waking me up. :bighug:

Well she got rid of those blues and went to yellows today. Boo hoo. Hoping it’s back to blue/ Green soon.

She’s so cute when she climbs into my bed, Karolina. It’s like her new trick and she just loves it. Her whole life she slept in bed with us until her broken leg :(

I’m just glad she’s finally rediscovered her ability again :)

And you have the 2 most adorable alarm clocks in your home :kiss:

Thank you, Staci! In another life (before moving to this country) I was a physician, ENT. Then here I did various things, started a Ph.D., worked as a school nurse, worked in a fabric store, had babies who then needed a full-time driver :-) and finally decided that I missed helping people, so I took the interpreting exam and I love it.
Spring in Minnesota is something very fleeting. You think it';s there, and then there is a snowstorm, a week of freezing temperatures, a day in the 60s, back in snow and cold, etc. And then it;s summer. And do it again in Fall. My son loves Tolkien and he likes to say it's like Hobbit meals, we have 2nd Winter, fake spring, etc ;)

I love what your son has to say! I think he’s quite accurate in his assessment Of the seasons where you live!

I am so glad she is feeling better and rediscovering her love of sleeping on the bed. Please give her a snuggle for me and blow raspberries in her floof, like Karolina said!

In the context of Italian slang, "putting the malocchio on someone" means to cast the "evil eye" but I'm casting it on you know what . Most Italian American's will say
