4/11 Charlie AMPS 255, +2 217, +4 186, +6 187, +9.5 203, PMPS 228

Hi Jess, great job yesterday for both of you. Hope you both got a little rest last night and we’ll get some more today. Maybe a nap?
Wishing you a safe surf and a gentle slide back down after his bounces over :cat::cat:

Such great numbers yesterday - way to go, Charlie! Hope you're able to catch up on work but also rest during this bounce. And then hopefully it's back to blues and greens soon :bighug:

Thank you! It was an exciting day that's for sure. I knocked right out after that +3 last night so I was able to get a decent amount of sleep, but a nap today does sound nice. I think I'm going to start making after work naps part of my routine. Gotta pay that sleep debt somehow!

Great that Charlie isn't do a mega-bounce into the pinks today.
Hope you get a chance to catch your breath - I think he will be in the blues and maybe greens again soon. It's so exciting.
Yes yes! So exciting and I'm so happy for him :cat::D

Definitely taking this time to catch my breath and prepare for the next round. I'm thinking I'll cook a bunch of food this weekend so I have actual food ready to eat--I went through FOUR protein shakes yesterday lol

That's a good idea! As well as the naps.
It will get easier though, I promise :joyful:
You'll learn how he handles carbs and how best to manipulate the curve if you need to.
Totally worth the short-term sleep deprivation thro, especially when he starts to show you that he feels better :cat:

Relieved to hear that it gets easier. And that he'll start showing me he feels better! Right now it seems like he feels best in high blues/low yellows. Before that it was high yellows/low pinks, so I just assumed they need to adjust to lower numbers

Is that why we try to avoid increasing a dose during a bounce-clearing cycle? You had mentioned something about that the other day, but I didn't want to ask about it because IIRC I'd already asked a million questions that day haha. I figured the answer would reveal itself in time :joyful:

That's good to know about him so going forward I can plan for a possible late nadir after a bounce. Like if I need to leave out food or plan to check on him.

I'm guessing I might have a (slightly) better idea of what he's going to do later when I test him at +6

Edit: nope.

You are always welcome to ask as many questions as you want! :bighug::bighug::bighug:
Bounce clearing cycles have additional downward momentum and you don't want to add an increase to the mix.

Just wanted to show you guys how Charlie sits and waits for his shot. He goes in there and sits like that after dinner every night when he sees me getting the shot ready. He even faces the direction I need him in because that's where the light is best. I wish he knew how much of a good boy he is *sobbing emoji*

Such a good boy!!! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Looks like he's still bouncing and you can get some sleep tonight. Don't stay up. Might make more sense to set an alarm for +6 of even later like +7/+8.

I'm sure he, knows Jess.
It's so gratifying to see how cooperative they can be in their own healing process. It inspires me :bighug::bighug::bighug:
