Good morning Staci,
Ouchy bounce for our girls this morning :spam::spam::spam:
But glad to hear that Ivy continues to eat some portion of the meals on her own now! That's a progress!
Maybe her thyroid is getting better regulated and that's helping her appetite?
Will she get her thyroid checked out to see how the medicine is working?
Let's see how our girls can manage this high start today!

Have a great day, Staci! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Ouchy is right:arghh:
We definitely aren’t out of the woods yet with the eating. She’s definitely not reliable and that’s not great. Especially if I need to go out and have her rely on the auto feeder and if she just ignores it, which she lately typically does, that’s not great.
We will have her labs retested the first week of May so we’ll see what we learn from that. I’m completely stressed about that since we have to figure out what the proper sedation situation is gonna be.
I sent an email to my vet and I’m waiting for a call from her (or more likely she’ll have someone from the office Call me). It’s hard getting an actual call from her to discuss, which doesn’t thrill me, of course. It’s a second hand discussion. :spam::spam::spam:
Hoping our girls slide down very gently today. Sigh. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

I hope Miss Ivy starts to eat better. That is always scary when they aren't into the food, especiallywith our diabetic kitties. I hope the vet call gives you some answers.

Good meowning Staci and Ivy!
Ouchy is right. I thought these sweet girls were done with the trampoline shenanigans but I guess not yet.
We really need them to find a new, down to earth hobby.
Hopefully you can be home today and see what type of adventure Ivy chooses.

Happy Thursday

Morning Staci, I know you are worried that if you're out that you can't rely on Ivy eating her snacks from the auto feeder. I'm praying that soon she will. I hope you will get a call today from the vets office about the sedation in May . I'm always sending prayer for Ivy every night
Try not to get too stressed ok. I know it's hard :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::cat:

I agree, Karolina. They seemed to be a bit better for a while, but now they seem to have revived their trampoline acts.
Ivy has been pretty flat after coming down from her morning highwire act this am. Seems she's coming down late in her cycle now. Stay tuned.
Hope you and the boys are having a nice, calm day :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Hi Diane, Awww you're so sweet, we really appreciate your care and prayers. We need them!
I sure wish she would get back to her "norm" of being my hungry foodie girl.
The vets office usually calls me at 6 pm when I am in the middle of feeding and giving insulin (their timing is the WORST).
Hope you and Tyler have a peaceful night!:bighug::bighug::bighug:

Pmps 140 Libre
At +.25 86 and quickly dropping. Guess she’s decided now is the time to break her bounce. Of course, I already fed her 6% meal so that won’t do a darn thing to slow down.
I may give her teaspoon of something a little higher just to put the brakes on a little bit

Whew Staci, I am so glad you were home to catch Ivy's big drop! I hope your vet gets back to you quickly, how irritating that she cannot return your calls herself? What is that all about? Fingers and paws crossed for when you go back for re-testing, but I am encouraged that Ivy is eating despite the methiamazole. I think that's a good sign. Hugs to you, you are burning the candle at both ends but that just shows the love of Ivy! :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug: Surf safely little girl!

Hi Ruth, I’ve missed you. Nice to see you. Hope all is well and your kitchen renovation is going well.
(we did that a few years ago and it was not fun, to say the least). I love the final product but, Oy. What a process. And my contractor was a real
Pain in the a$$. He just wouldn’t finish the job. Took forever. ;)

Yea, we love Ivy so much. She’s my girl alright. I do hope she’s doing ok on the methimazole.

I agree on the vet. Hoping to get a plan in place. I’m losing sleep over the stress of taking her for bloodwork. It’s so hard on her it makes me so stressed. I just hate to see how upset she gets and then the aftermath of messed up appetite from the sedatives. It turns into a bad few days.
If only she wasn’t her own worst enemy. Poor girl.
Thanks for looking in on us and have a nice night :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Seems to be her new trend these days, a late nadir in her cycle.
