no recent post Hello everyone, Fritz had a UTI and black gunk in both ears and eyes Vet treated him with Orbax for UTI , Tresaderm for ears, Neomycin & Polymyxin B Sulfates & Bacitracin Zinc Ophthalmic Ointment for eyes. The day I took him to the vet he was in and out of litter box and small amount of urine. Since then he started urinating on the edge of litter box and the last week he has been going on my throw rugs, and sometimes in his littler box. His urine samples came back clean. I am at a loss as to why? Age (12), Weight (30Lbs), Kidneys, bladder????? We will be back closer to his kitty vet in May my question is do I take him in now and get BW? another urine test? He eats well sleeps a lot. He has been a lot more vocal the last month. Any tid bits welcome!
I took my cat for uti yesterday and he had been more vocal, hes 19 and I think dementia but I did have bw done and he has the start of ckd Ur cat weighs 30 lbs??
Poor Fritz. He's been through a lot. I hope the eyes and ears are better. I don't know about the peeing in other places. I wonder if there is a chance there is a UTI even though the urine samples came back clean. D-Mannose is a supplement you can give for a UTI. It won't hurt him if he doesn't have one. Sending prayers.
Yes he does I've had him to two different vet universities with no answers. He eats 3.5 oz of raw food a day. I've been told somewhere along the line his brain said store everything as fat not energy. It's been a long journey to try and manage his weight. Thanks for input I'm going to get BW scheduled I suspect CKD well see
I buy mine from Swanson Vitamins. https://www.swansonvitamins.com/swanson-premium-d-mannose-700-mg-60-caps
