Can you get tests at different time to see if she is going lower? Nadirs can and do move around. They aren't always at +4/+5. Maybe some days you could test at other times instead of +4/+5?

Why do you think something is wrong with her mouth?

Is she also peeing more?

I'm trying to do what I can with the measurements. Of course I know that it could be a different time for the nadirs. I opened her mouth and I see some change. She's definitely drinking more water than I can observe. We'll go to the doctor after Easter.

Blood work would be good to get, a senior panel. There are a couple reasons for drinking more. You might want to measure how much she's drinking. Put a set amount in her water bowl each day, and measure how much it's going down.

What sort of change are you seeing in her mouth?

Her gums look irritated. But whatever I say, I'm not a doctor
