Morning! Have a great day everybody!

Yeah. Only the 3rd cycle on this dose.too early yet to earn another reduction
Milk thistle is good but lacks an ingredient that Denamarin has. However it is cheaper. I have seen it help some cats before. I will look at his labs as soon as I get home. It sounds encouraging!Just posted his new labs. From one vet to the next there are some gaps...but overall he is looking waaayyy better. She wants to put him on denamarin for his elevated alt...and also claims his ast is elevated even though according to values on ss they arent. His alt has come down significantly on its own I'm sure due to bg becoming regulated.
I may just try the milk thistle instead of getting the denamarin.

Yes I added them to lab tab on ssI will look at your labs. Are they on the labs tab of your ss? Max used to get high ALT but other markers were normal. My internist said unless over double the high range nothing was needed.
Injust colored BUN yellow...I missed that cause vets range of BUN goes to 40 sonit didnt say high. I am feeding raw with ezcomplete and only using canned for higher carb as needed for low bgBUN is a little out of range but Creatinine is still good. I would not worry too much about kidney disease at this point but I might switch to a lower phosphorus food just to ease the load on his kidneys. Sometimes it’s hard to find a lower phosphorus food that is also low carb. I can send you a list. USG is a tiny bit lower than last time but that can vary from time to time. I would just recheck bloodwork in 6 months since he’s a senior.
Anything I can do about that?Higher BUN might be due to high protein diet.
The eosinophils are quite a lot lower from 6 months ago as well. Cholesterol is down quite a bit as well.Just looked. His labs look good. Max)s ALT would be higher with pancreatitis flares. I would not add a thing without symptoms. As for cholesterol, it’s not an indication of anything. Not reliable. High eosinophils indicate allergies possible. Mocha’s were up when she had active skin allergies.
That’s really perfect and low phosphorus because they use the egg shell calcium!Injust colored BUN yellow...I missed that cause vets range of BUN goes to 40 sonit didnt say high. I am feeding raw with ezcomplete and only using canned for higher carb as needed for low bg
Awesome!That’s really perfect and low phosphorus because they use the egg shell calcium!
Yay thankyou he is looking so much better! Amazing what a regulated bg will doI would seriously not change a thing. The labs are very good. Recheck in 6 months.
I'm doing chicken breast...turkey breast...and pork loin. Tried lamb did not like and really no big reason to try beef I'd have to find a crazy low fat choice so crazy expensive (not worth it) I was told turkey thigh can be lower phosphorus but higher fat....You probably don’t need to change a thing! What kind of meat do you give him? The only reason I ask is because I am still hemming and hawing about feeding my cats raw with EZ Complete. I even have the EZC at home. Why do I procrastinate this??? I have way too many cats to buy super expensive exotic meat so it will have to be turkey or chicken or something like that.
Not sure about setting a bar but I am so relieved that there hasnt been something lurking other than wr do need to get a dental scheduled before it get much worseThis is so promising!! Love that Little M is not only holding his own but setting the bar! You go, Little Man!!!
Well, he's setting the bar for Eddie in the BG department. When low bar wins the prize!Not sure about setting a bar but I am so relieved that there hasnt been something lurking other than wr do need to get a dental scheduled before it get much worse
Totally. Remember there’s also meter variance.Ok sonis it normal to get same reading across 3 hours ? Just checked him he is still 61...I checked it twice once in each ear...just 61
@tiffmaxee
Ok kind of freaked me out a little it's never happened that many times in a row...twice I think is most. I'm at work home by +11 tonight. Gave him a raw snack before I left af with +9 snack.Totally. Remember there’s also meter variance.

Let me know if you hit it big LOLHey Rain. I'm glad LM blood work looks good, those 3 61 BG's. I'm going to have to go post the pick three lottery tonight. 061
