Last night I was seriously considering sleeping through the night without testing. I postponed the usual prozinc +5, it looked like she didn't move downwards..but she did!

This morning she was totally crazy!
Mauer is fed in the windowsill in my bedroom, her brother Miver is fed on the cattree on the highest platform.. and Mauer is too fat to get up there. Or that's what I thought. Where there is a will there's a way! She made a few hilarious attempts to get up there and finally she made it. Stuffing her face with his food, like I'm starving her... I'm not, by the way o_O:D

Ànd now she's sleeping..
I was hoping for a blue AMPS, but tomorrow is another day!

:) I have a good image of what she looked like. I have a civvie who can jump, but usually escalates. She was quite overweight when she came to us and she would get stuck inthe odest places.....

Here is the link to your last post here: https://felinediabetes.com/FDMB/threads/2-2-mauer-amps-292-2-274-6-212-8-160-10-148-pmps-137.242456/

In that post, you were asking about fur shots. Did you think you did one? If so, it is good to mark on the spreadsheet cause it impacts the depot, and hence dosing.
I forgot the link again....
No I don't think I did one, but I'm wondering why else only half her cycles is decent..
On prozinc I filled the syringe to 7.5, now only 2.25. Thats a big difference and it feels like I'm giving her almost nothing, so I thought maybe I didn't get all in... but I run my hands through her fur after every shot, and she's never wet. I don't know really
But! Her mood is awesome so that's something :D

I'll do my best to remember the link tomorrow :bighug:

Mauer would not be the first kitty we have seen, that jumped up to a place their caregiver/owner was convinced they could not reach.
Now you know. Meal feeding for both Mauer and Miver is in your future I predict.

Plus you need to keep Mauer away from eating any of the dog food, any of the rabbit food, any rabbit droppings (poop) if you let your bunny out of the enclosure. Way more to think about here Sasha.

Levemir onset is typically not until +4 (Neko's was +5), so that meant from preshot to onset, you'll likely see a cycle just going up. Unless kitty is getting to a good dose and seeing really good duration that goes until the next cycle.

How would you feel about an increase to 2.5 units?

The only one eating the rabbit droppings is the dog o_O
The dog is fed raw and eats up in seconds.
And I'm sure Mauer haven't been up there before, cause she's loosing weight and she finishes her meals right away.
Miver always have food left. And she has never had any interest in rabbit food. So I'm sure she's not eating contraband :p
If it was Miver who was diabetic I'd be worried, cause he eats rabbit greens, hay and grass, plants and weeds, my plants.. and he has no trouble getting up on the kitchen counter eating human foods.

I feel it's time, so I'll increase in ten minutes! :D
