Here's an odd one - the pee pads in the kitchen sink were dry when I got home but smelled like pee
I have tape securing the pads in place so he can't mess with them. The counter was dry. I put the pee pads in the trash and the pee smell went away. No idea what Leroy did to the pads 
He is using the second box for pee and the occasional poop but still poops on the litter mat 
At least he paws the pee pad over to cover up the poop.
