I'm actually on Day 8, I just botched the thread title yesterday! Too many copy and pastes and edits to keep track of lol.

AA seems to be plateauing nicely...trying to avoid jumping the gun before reintroducing LC dry food... Want a couple more days of data (maybe a whole week) before doing again. Regardless, it's going to be difficult to only test once a month and "trust" that he's ok the rest of the time! :/

I know that’s what the words say, but you can always test more frequently than once a month. I’ve seen people say that they caught their cat coming out of remission sooner than they would have if they were testing monthly. Weekly feels like a good compromise for us. Happy Day 8!

Regardless, it's going to be difficult to only test once a month and "trust" that he's ok the rest of the time! :/

In the beginning it wouldn't be once a month for testing
Continue testing blood glucose weekly for the first month and then monthly forever

I will be testing BG and Ketones weekly because of Kobe's previous DKA. and also continuing to weigh him weekly because of his history of inappetecence.

The Admiral's numbers are looking great! Keep it up Ackbar! One week down, one to go!
