We saw greens today! :D Our first in 17 days.

Xander still seems to be doing about as well as he has been the past couple of days. No sign of things getting worse again yet. I'm still giving him 2-3 more days of meds before seeing how he is without them.

I had to wait a while for his own prescription of Ondansetron to come in, but it finally did today. On the label though it specifically says "Do NOT use with Cerenia." The vet never told me this herself and everything I can find seems to imply it's perfectly fine to use both (which we have been, and it's what finally seemed to make a difference). Just wondering if anyone has any idea why. It also says 1 mg every 8 hours (I've been doing 2 every 6, which I'm pretty sure I told the vet and she didn't comment on). Weird. Maybe they're just being overly cautious?

Hope everyone's having a nice Monday. :bighug:

Look at those lovely greens Brianna! :D:D:D
He must have given you quite a shock with that dramatic drop from pinks to greens. Good job getting keeping him from going into a lime.
Hoping the bounce is cleared quickly and he descends more safely next time!

That’s quite a bounce breaking cycle, Brianna. Xander was in a hurry to show you greens!
Glad you got the meds needed and that he’s doing much better!
It does seem odd what they put on the label of the bottle.
We do know he can take more and safely take it with Cerenia.
Have a safe day and give sweet Xander some chin scritches from us :bighug::cat::bighug:

Thanks, Helen! He did clear it quickly, but no luck in preventing the lime this time.

Thanks, Staci! I'll keep doing what I have been for now. We have enough Cerenia to last us through tomorrow. We'll see how it goes... :bighug:
