4/9 Inky AMPS 383

Earlier this week

hello, I have had a busy tiring week and I had trouble trying to post so I am giving this another shot. (Pun intended)

Inky is having trouble eating the BB Alligator so I am doing a food allergy challenge with him for chicken.

okay I just realized that the post I thought didn’t post finally posted. I don’t want to change his insulin as he is going from a moderate carb food to a no carb food, and I would rather tinker with one thing at a time.

You should know within a few days if the food change is making a big difference in his blood sugar numbers. You don't need to feed a no carb food, and for a lot of cats, some carbs, in the 3-5% range is commonly fed, is a good thing. Might want to look at this post: Feeding Low Carb vs Lower Carb Foods

That was interesting. I made a batch of cat food following the recipe on cat info.org. He likes it, and if his
Numbers stay high, maybe I can add some pumpkin to it.
Starting a new thread for today.
