Good morning Deb! Looks like a bit calmer today. No speedos.

 

Very nervous but Mikan had a fantastic PMPS. A thought of BSC dose came to mind but I remembered @Bandit's Mom saying that Glargine would give a gentler curve at the low preshot. I will be monitoring her close today, for sure. Paws crossed.

@Mikanmama how's Mikan? When did she last get some honey/syrup?

Mikan is acting OK - I don't see anything drastically different or anything suggestive of symptomatic hypoglycemia. But BG stays low and she is no longer interested in eating. I'm just monitoring her now.

 

Thats good. Can you rub some honey on her gums? How long since your last test?

 

Update at +5.5 FSL 57 and AT2 89. A little better.

I'll wait for another 20 min and see how she does. If she goes down, I'll rub some syrup into her lips.

She got up to 60. I think we are over the hump. I'm leaving some MC food out. Thanks Angela for your support through this. It really meant a lot.

Looking like she'll be fine now. She is acting fine and her numbers are upping. I think I'll take a bath and test her once more just in case, before heading to bed.
