5/13 Oberon AMPS 484 (1 R), +2.5 352, +5 253, +8 134, +10 118, PMPS 172, +2 238, +4.75 250

So far so good today. If he follows the same pattern as last time, he'll be fine overnight and then give me an interesting day tomorrow. I don't trust him, though, so I'll still be getting a +2 and +5 or so tonight.

We got a new cat toy yesterday and he was actually completely freaked out by it. This cat is normally fearless, so it was really weird to see that. I finally realized that the problem was the bell, so we took it off. Now he's just utterly uninterested in it. It's keeping the kitten entertained, though.

Nice to see blues again so soon, and a stretch of them. I wonder if his R dose needs are changing?

Good question. Hard to tell how much of that was the R and how much was his normal quick spike/drop. Maybe next time I give him R I'll give a little less and see what he does with it. (Also, I'm planning ahead a bit and hoping to use the R to let my husband practice giving shots. He can do testing but hasn't done shots yet, and I'm going to be gone for a few days in June. If I let him practice with R first, it's not as big a deal if there's a fur shot or two.)

Funny, my DH was the other way around. Did shots right away and took months before he'd do any testing.

I mostly haven't let him... I'm a bit of a control freak.

Popping back up at +2... looks like I'll get some sleep tonight. I'll get a bedtime check later.

I was glad when we switched to calipers. But I still had to control the caliper settings. :p

:p When we get closer to the date I'll have to consult here about a vacation dose, too... with just one person doing testing and not available all the time, we'll have to make some temporary adjustments. It should only be 6 cycles.
