AMBG 111

HELP - Do I give her a shot or not discussion?

I also have a function to go to today which is an hour away. It's going to last two to three hours. What should my game plan be?
The occasional blue does pop up in OTJ trials. See if her BG comes down later in the day :)

Ok, will test again in three hours.

How about my game plan for going to my function today? I'd be gone about 5-6 hours.

Ty, Bhooma.

If you will be home in 3 hours, you can test then or after you are back. Since you aren't giving her insulin, you needn't worry about her going too low when you are not at home!

I'm wishing you lots of luck with the OTJ trial. It's really nice that she was at 67, but you can still go out and not worry about her dropping too low because she is not on insulin (sigh... I'll never be there... but I'm happy for you!)

Ty for the encouragement, Suzanne, and making me feel better about going out. It’s out of town so I would worry. I’ll be back before her PMGP. Ty, again.

Why won’t you ever get there?

Well, I probably will never get there because Darcy has acromegaly and now is having kidney problems (kidney disease? kidney injury that's reversible? who knows?) so we may never be able to get the radiation treatment for him and he probably won't go of the juice... but that's okay. I love him and will keep doing whatever he needs.

Awwwe, I understand. Poor baby. It’s so not fair that these babies, that don’t understand, have to go through all this terrible stuff. I’m sorry to hear that Darcy has all that going on. Yep, just love him up. Spoil him rotten and just do whatever he needs.

I also have Valentino who is 15 years old. I adopted him when he was 10. He has pancreatitis, irritable bowel disease, and hypothyroidism. I also have a cat, Jax, that has urinary crystals and he actually lives with my ex-boyfriend. Because my three boys bully Haley. My ex-boyfriend and Jax have the cutest relationship. He’s doing well with my ex, Mark. Mark and I talk almost every day. And we have the understanding that Jax is still my cat because I would never give any of my kitties away. I only am letting him live with Mark to relieve Haley’s stress. And that happened a week before Haley was diagnosed so it was perfect timing I have Buddy also. He’s healthy now but three years ago he had stomatitis and had to have all of his teeth surgically removed. But, he’s thriving now and he’s so handsome I can’t stand it. So, we adopt these babies and do whatever is best for them. It’s best that they’re with us then us not have had adopted them. At least I know my babies are safe. Give Darcy a scratch under the chin for me❤️
