So Pika is doing a thing… and staying in low range.. he has been doing this lately. So has he forced me into a form a TR? Since I’ve been shooting at under 150? I’m trying to be as consistent as possible.. and TR was with human meters so I don’t know what numbers to watch for in a modified version of it. Since he has been staying lower for the most part. I’m super proud of him for staying so low but how low does he go.. I don’t know. but I am not testing every hour and I need to get some in the middle of the night to find out how low he could be going) but since I’ve been shooting at 100-110 I feel like I’m being forced into more a TR protocol and that is scary for me .
is anyone using pet meters that can tell me appropriate pet meter numbers? I just know that the human meters show lower numbers than pet meters and that is why it’s okay to go into 60 and 50s…
But I do ask him all the time “you feeling good are you too low” in the night when I check on him. And he does reply with a meow and a stretch saying rub my belly, or he gets up and wants me to cuddle with him. But we have seen some major improvements in Pika. He is now playing and not just laying in the same 3 places.. is isn’t hanging out by the water bowl, his appetite is back to normal. (I was getting used to him eating constantly) he is gaining weight again. His meows are returning to their usual pitch. So Pika is doing amazing at these low numbers.
