5/25 Ruby AMBG 81/+5 74/PMBG 72/+3 80

Ruby is looking very steady. Very nice that it looks like you might be getting her into remission. When was Ruby first diagnosed with diabetes? I saw the DKA on 9/1/20 but is that also when she was diagnosed with diabetes?

Yes, she was diagnosed with diabetes when she stopped eating for a few days and I took her to the ER and they found ketones in her urine. In hindsight that might have been her first IBD flare as well. Did not realize the complexity of her health issues. It's been a long 9 months!

You are doing such a wonderful job with her. It is obvious how much you love and care for her.
 
Yeah! Much Ado About Ruby! I like it. And I like that AMBG. It would be so great if you had one less thing to deal with! And Ruby must be feeling so well. All good news!

It was so great when Tina came off insulin. Still, she is a high maintenance kitty cat, and likes for me to keep learning about senior health!

Since Ruby's gotten sick I have learned SO MUCH about feline health. I didn't pay enough attention for the first 10 years of her life because I was so involved in my own but now I'm making up for it. This community has become so important to me, and it's amazing all of the things I've learned from other online groups and resources. What did us cat mamas do before the internet?

We did what the vet said to do?! I did, anyway. If only's make me sad. I must joke (the month of May tried to knock me flat down; and it ain't gonna happen!) -- by the time I'm too old to adopt a kitten, at least I have learned how to take care of one :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:
through his or her whole life!

Yes it's wonderful she's leaving you poop presents :p
Tyler is doing good, just a ballbreaker sometimes lol hope it was OK to say that :p
