@Wendy&Neko This AM would be cycle 10 of the drop dose for Mazi. He started the dose on 5/21 PM cycle.

I've noticed his cycles seem to be flat after onset?Do flat cycles tell us anything?

What are your thoughts? Do we continue another week on this dose?

Would you like me to make any changes to my testing times? Aside from today when I only was able to get 1 check in.

Flat after onset means nothing. Remind me when his feeding times are.

Did you ever count the number of drops in your 0.1 unit dose? Just wondering how much smaller this drop dose is.

@Wendy&Neko His feeding times are 845 am/pm and gets 1/2 of a 5.5oz can of friskies pate each meal time (3 - 6% carbs) He gets his snack at either +3 or +4 each cycle of 1/4 can of the same friskies.

No sorry, I did not count the drops of the 0.1U dose. However by eye, the 0.1U dose was about double the size of the drop dose.

I will upload a picture of the two drop sizes for you in the next 15 mins. Hopefully the pictures can help. Unfortunately I have a Andrioid Samsung galaxy 5 and I have to upload the pictures like previously. I've tried the copy and paste route but my phone doesn't give me that option that I know of

@Wendy&Neko okay so pictures will most likely not will not be helpful to you.

I just did some practicing with the syringe. When I was drawing up the 0.1U I was lining the top of the plunger with the bottom of the thick black 0 marking. Which was giving me a big drop.

What I can try is, lining up the top of the plunger with the top of the bold black 0 marking and see if that is a happy medium between the 0.1 U and Drop Dose.

I tried the twisting the plunger method like you suggested previously but I wasn't getting consistent drops each time. I will need more practice with that method.

The 0.1 and drop look about right. I've seen some people count multiple drops in their 0.1 dose, which is why I asked.

    Should I change Mazi's dose to a skinny 0.1U?

That's where I place the plunger to the top of the black 0 marking instead of lining the the plunger to the bottom of the 0 mark?

It seems the .1U is too much but the drop dose isn't enough.

    @Wendy&Neko

Last night and this morning I was comparing the drop size of the drop dose and the dose I drew up by lining the plunger with the top line of the 0 marking and to the eye they look identical.

That said, if you are thinking Mazi needs an increase, should I just go back to the 0.1U dose?

The Drop dose doesn't seem to be enough and I can't really draw up a dose in between the drop and 0.1U dose.
