Hubby home today. we went searching in early hours. saw about 10 strays, non my baby. was crying alot, but im ok now. just keep on trucking. Ares is depressed too i think. He barely gets excited for treats, doesn't really want to eat his pates, getting super duper picky about them and he wants to constantly go out during the day...which he never did b4 maggie left :(

i found a packet of delectables senior stew that he is eating like a mad man. so ima shoot him, only 14 calories tho!

but question still stands

yes, he will. he is just refusing his pates...ive tried to get him to eat 4 kinds now today and he will eat about a tsp of it and then goes right to the window or the door :(
IF I break out gravy or human food or something really tasty, he will eat. I am pressure cooking a ckn breast i found in the freezer now just to be safe and make sure he absolutely eats! because he will eat this.

Sounds like a bit of food boredom. Put away the foods he doesn't want to eat and bring them out after a week. Try some non-pate LC foods?

Thank you. I have chicken breast i cooked. he loved the chunky chicken FF, but i can't find those ANYWHERE now. so i guess for a few days he can have this ckn and i have some tilapia ill cook in a couple days.

Any suggestions on other LC thats not pate?
