5/28 Jack: 308 @AMPS- increased to 7.5u

So I fell asleep on the couch after Jack's PM shot and dinner, never got another reading last night, and instead of the mid-100 number I was predicting, Jerky Jack is 308 this morning. We increased to 7.5 units because after 45 minutes of trying to get this fool to eat anything other than kibble on top of his pate, I gave up and just gave him the little scoop he wanted. The rest of the herd was extremely happy with Jack's antics because they reaped the benefits of open containers of Meow Mix, Sheba, Prime Filets, Ziwi Peak, and even HUMAN TUNA. :banghead: :spam: King of the Picky Pets is driving me crazy and I can't figure why he's so high this morning, after what normally gives him a decent AMPS number for dinner. Unless it's because I predicted he would have a decent number and was feeling more safe, secure, and settled with the current custom insulin dose and food regimen so he decided to put me back in my normal, anxiety riddled place. Figgin' Scooch of a cat!!!!:mad::cat:

I hope he settles down and eats his proper diet for you later, Christine.

LOL.....something worse....LOL.....you definitely have the 'come down or else' vibe going....Jack was 80 this morning...have a good one!
