Good morning
Last night Ivy spend time way up high after a few cycles of much nicer numbers.
Guess today she has to work her way back down.
Going out to dinner tonight. Will follow the method of feeding 12.5% for meal and first 2 snacks (if she eats them from her feeder). If not, when I get home around +3.25 I will feed her a 6% snack.
(Really wish she would relearn how to use her auto feeders which she used to be so good about eating from).

Back to cooler temperatures here and maybe some rain today. Hoping for a nice long walk outside. Could use some outside diversions.

Her cycles had been much lower for a few cycles.
Plus I had fed higher carb in the am since I had to go out, so not sure really.

I think so, too. She clears bumps into higher numbers pretty quickly.

Hi Kit, I hope nothing too drastic, too. We can always hold out hope, right? I do think she’s taking a break.
Ian’s yes, just hold on while I’m out for like 2.5 hours. Always worried.

Will you walk if it rains? I love me a walk in a nice misty/drizzle sort of rain that isn't to cold, but isn't too warm.

Yes, we do walk if it’s a light rain and not cold. If it’s really gross then nope.
Today was a nice walk, although overcast. Glad we got it in!
Of course the one dip Ivy took was while I was on the walk. She knows just how to push my stress buttons, that girl.
Otherwise she’s still working her way down from last night’s much higher curve.

Looks like Ivy is giving you some nicer numbers as the day progresses. I hope she doesn't bounce again and keeps it cool
I'm sorry to hear she hasn't gone back to eating from the feeder. I hadn't given it another try with Fistuk. I just took it down to the cellar today. I never thought it'll work with Fistuk. I can imagine that it's not easy for you since Ivy was so good at eating with the feeder. That gives you some independence in an already quite busy schedule to manage for her.
Paws crossed she'll relearn how to eat from the feeder.

We also had cooler weather over the past couple of weeks. Really missing the sun. The app shows some pawsitive numbers for coming Thursday which is great because we have a holiday and we're planning a hike.

It's definitely doing a rain here, but not something I think I can walk in. More of a big ol' thunderstorm (which I also love, but from the safety of my apartment).
I'm glad she's working her way down, and of course her dip was while you were gone. Sounds about cat.

Thanks, Alicia. I always keep my everything crossed she holds steady when we go out. Hold my breath and gulp my glass of róse.

I know you understand, Shelly. It’s so much to try to process and manage carefully and properly. And when the vets don’t do the best job helping us, we feel like we are on our own to try to figure out what the best course is for them.
And since I don’t have a science or medical background, I find it especially stressful and challenging to try to make the best decisions on their behalf.
