Yesterday’s post

Another first to add to the list: RK greeted me with a faint, cracked meow—or at least her best effort at a meow—this morning when I brought her breakfast. I think she was actually asking for her Temptations Lickable Spoon treat, but whatever. She does love those things. “Someone” might have bought out the local Walmart of the Chicken/cheese flavored ones recently.

Ketones continue to stay in line despite the high BGs and her appetite is improving, especially for her favorite foods—all of which are medium or high carb, of course. But that’s ok, she’s eating and that’s all that matters for now.

And I can’t complain about a red AMPS. All in all, not a bad start to the day.

Did you have to do any syringe feeding yesterday?
It’s the 6th cycle after the blue BGs today. I wonder if we’ll see some action.

No. She didn’t eat quite as well so I considered it, but I think we did just fine without.

I hope we don’t have too much action today…I have to be away for a few hours. I did just realize why I’m so wiped out though. I’ve basically been running a marathon at a sprinter’s pace and now I'm shooting 4 times a day. Oh the things we do for Those Who Leave Random Fur On All Of Our Possessions.
