+2 275
Ate a nice snack of dog sized Purebites Chicken (I think the bigger pieces are softer than the cat sized) and Wellness kitten chicken pate.

I kinda keep these notes as a diary for myself as well as information for help, so excuse the extra stuff.

He seems to be dropping quickly again... just gave him some FF beef pate.
He ate freeze dried turkey prior to this with tests tonight, until we came to an oily piece - that was kind of nasty, and turned him right off.
Turned up his nose at chicken kitten food after that, but ate some FF beef for me just now.
I hope he doesn't drop at this same rate in the next hour, I hope he slows the drop down.

+4 88, +5 97

I had a problem with the +4 test - went through 6 strips with the error message strip problem, try another.
I started freaking out, thinking he was too low - but the error message was not a too low warning, and I got the same error message on human blood.
Found another One Touch meter - an Ultra Mini - takes the same strips and batteries as the Ultra - and got this reading of 88.

Retested at +5 with original meter after successful test on myself.
This meter gave me reading of 97 - the 88 on the other meter may not be comparable to this meter.
Regardless, he is hungry, eating freeze dried chicken now, seems good.
I think the 97 is a good reading.

I am wondering if the strip problem at +4 was due to how hot our living room was tonight.
We put a fire on and it got toasty warm - the meter and strips seem to be working fine after moving them to a cooler room.
Anyway...
His BG's are not dropping low so time for bed.
That a was bit too eventful at the +4 mark, but hopefully tomorrow is more sedate.
