Yesterday's Condo that I labeled as today

Higher start for Willie, but looking good by +3. Hoping he doesn't dip too low today. We are on cyle 11 at this dose, but we're also on Day 31 of our pen (and I have a bad habit of leaving the pen on the counter... I'm just not awake enough at 6am, and am literally walking in the door and shooting at 6pm!). We've seen greens on this cycle, but I would like to compact his curve a bit. Going to get a new pen on Saturday afternoon and we'll be starting that then. I may also add a drop on to his dose, but I won't do that until I am round to monitor for a full cycle... depending on how he does today, the earliest we'd head upward would be Friday morning... it usually takes a cycle for his dosecreases to take effect and I'll be around all weekend and have no plans tomorrow night. This, of of course, means I'll most likely get home tonight and find myself needing to stall! :lol: :lol: :lol:

Hope everyone is having a great day. I am soooo ready for the weekend. Apparently, the bug going around keeps you under the weather for a couple weeks, and given how tired I've been, looks like that may be the cooties I caught last week!!

Furry purry boy so happy to see me that he even let me give him lots of kisses (which, I always explain he needs, but he never seems to buy it!).

Extremely cross at the squirrels. I've always loved squirrels, but they are trying my patience. I have a patio tomato plant that got a second wind this season with 6 good sized tomatoes on it that I've been nursing. Today, looked out the window and noticed the plant was askew, so I went out, and i was down to 4 tomatoes! :evil: :evil: Turned around, and the largest tomato was sitting, a third eaten, on a chair. GRR!!! I've told Willie that he needs to get on this, but he decided that laying under the dining room table was a higher priority. hmpf.

Nice improvement with the PMPS, Willie. I hope you have a peaceful weekend without too much squirrel chasing. :lol:

Cooties? Tomato-loving squirrels?? We have deer who eat everything that grows. But they are so beautiful! Feel better soon, Christie. Those late-summer "bugs" are no fun.

Good luck with the new pen this weekend! We're in the same boat and started ours today. Here's hoping for really good numbers for us all!

Good luck with the new pen. Willie's not doing too bad today on this pen. Sorry you're still not feeling well. It does seem like it takes longer to get over colds and upper respiratory viruses. What, no DMV guy tomorrow. I'm behind on the news. Have a good night.

and the squirrels have been raiding the pepper and tomato plants at my mom's...
But i've got a secret weapon...Annie has a propensity for catching squirrels...
so mine is the only yard in the subdivision they stay out of! :cool:

Bit of a drop for LeDublian (his nickname of the week), so he got some avoderm to slow things down a it.

NO WAY, Willie finally killed the mouse!!!!! He gummed that poor mouse to death? Such a horrible way to go, or maybe the mouse drowned from all the kitty slobber?

And what may i ask is avoderm???

Oh, Tracy! He buried it to keep it fresh for me, then was so kind as to unbury it before I stepped on it getting out of bed. True delight, that boy.

Avoderm is a food you can get at Petsmart/Petco. I think it is more a medium carb food, but Willie loves it and it generally gets the job done. :-D :-D
 
Soo.. funny story. Didn't realize I'd used my last strip (and just found out today that a shipment of Arkray strips to ADW was delayed so my order from earlier this week won't go out until tomorrow) and while I have Advocates to use as a backup, I knew I'd need strips for the weekend anyway. Mad dash to the Walmart up the street as they were closing 15 minutes... grab the strips (which are now miraculously on the shelves after I complained to the pharmacy about it... woo!), checked one other thing I wanted that was out of stock, then realized my sweet tooth had kicked in, so I grabbed a bag of candy and headed to the checkout.

Seriously.

That's what I like to call Girl Genius at Work.

Saw the look on the teenaged cashiers face, busted out laughing and explained that the strips were for my cat, the gummy worms for me. He laughed really hard and said that he was very glad to not be contributing to something potentially tragic. Totally reminded me of an old Daria episode (which Logo has been running lately), but then realized the cashier was likely too young to remember Daria and suddenly felt very old, so I said nothing, headed to the car, and ate some worms.

Willie is now having a bath along with his bedtime cuddles.

i got it to try to put weight on Homie (GA)...
and binks was instantly smitten.
