So it looks as though I may need to rent an RV to accommodate all the cats that require a trip to the vet clinic.
Ironically enough, I have a friend who moved from NJ to FL and she hired a special pet moving company that included a licensed vet tech. She had some special needs kitties, but her herd exceeded the space in her minivan/SUV anyway, so they all got loaded up into this converted RV, and they all drove down to FL, complete with AC, litterboxes, food, water, and knowledgeable friendly people. She was pretty happy with them from what I remember. But, I digress....
I'm searching for good news to post, coming up somewhat short because it is pretty much the same
-show (literally) as yesterday here. Jack is still being picky about his food, maybe a bit better, had soft stool this morning, not quite what Otis is experiencing, but not his nice, normal poop. I'm holding off on the cerenia dose today, it's 1x daily so I can give it later today if I have to, but if the poopies don't get firmer, he's going on metronidazole as well. He didn't hit any pink that I could tell yesterday, but because I spent so much time stalking and assessing Abby (who definitely needs to go to the vet) and cleaning up after Otis and Lily, Jack's tests didn't happen as often as I wanted. They are all sort of avoiding me this morning, they know I want to do/treat/hassle them about something so it's gonna be another tough day with them. Socks seems better though, and no one else is having a problem (paws crossed it stays that way), so I guess that's the 'good news.' I'm going to assess Jack's BM's today and based on that situation decide when to give them back the YA. Happy Sunday, all.
