? 6/15 Bear AMPS 140, +3.5 56, +5 83, +6.5 78, +8.5 67, PMPS 124 - reduction based on yesterday?

Hi all!
Bear has been doing really well. Yesterday he dropped into the 40’s. I don’t know why I didn’t think about it sooner, but I think he earned himself a reduction, didn’t he?

Actually he’s a long term diabetic so he needs to drop under 40 or 7 days almost all green so don’t reduce.

They become long term after a year.

My mistake. He’s not long term so take the reduction. Congrats!

I’m wondering. We rescued him last November but he was likely diabetic for a while. However, he didn’t get his official diagnosis until the end of November. Do you think we should still reduce or just assume that he’s a long-term?

. Let’s use the November date. You could also try three drops under 50 before reducing. I think that’s what I would do.

Remember if ever there’s a bg under 40 it’s a reduction for all cats, even long term.
