Never increased, never went to the city, never did what I thought I would get to over the weekend. Then came the 5 day argument over renewing his insulin....needless to say we are BACK to the bio-similar (glargine-yfgn) Jack was showing some green, staying at 10u is really just a combo of laziness/lack of time to monitor/worry over changing back to the yfgn. Maybe Thursday for 10.5- tomorrow is a beast of a schedule, I won't be around most of the day :(

Hoping all kitties and humans are doing well...sending hugs to everyone :bighug::bighug:

I know it's hard when you want to make changes but life gets in the way. I hope the switch back to the biosimilar works out - how frustrating to have to argue for insulin you want to use for Jack.

I hope the rest of the herd is doing well. Hugs to you and scritches to the furry ones. ❤️

I hope the insulin change doesn't affect Jack's progress. I didn't notice any difference when Purrl got a different brand, but the switch was also before she was well-regulated. The new Semglee vial we just got and haven't tapped yet, is the same as the last one.

It just really :spam::spam::spam::spam::spam: me off about the insulin. It's always about availability or price. I honestly don't see much difference in behavior or numbers between the regular glargine and the yfgn bio-similar, it's just annoying because the price varies and then there's the argument with the pharmacist/vet over needing 2 different prescriptions to accommodate availability/price. I'm so tired of everything being a fight to just properly care for cats. Glad to hear Purrl is well regulated. Hoping to catch up on the Board today. Thanks for stopping by. :bighug:
