Interesting... yesterday it really looked like he was starting a big bounce, but he came right back down again.

Yeah, every other time he's started to shoot up like that he's ended up in the pinks within a cycle or two. Faked us out this time and instead he's toying with a reduction.

Annoying cat... 48 at PMPS, so we're stalling a bit. Hoping to avoid a skip.

54 now, but he snuck a bit of LC food a few minutes ago so I'm not sure I trust it. Shoot? Stall a little longer? BCS to drain the depot a little?

Maybe stall 20 and see if he's still going up. The first 30 minutes stall should cover the LC he snuck. I'm not sure I'd BCS, unless you don't want to monitor tonight. I expect he's angling for a reduction because he was so hard to get up. The saying goes that if a cat is really hard to keep over 50, that's another reason to reduce. A BCS would delay him earning a reduction by going low. Plus a delay acts a bit like a reduction anyway.
