Hello!
Wanted to get some eyes on escas spreadsheet today for some experienced advice. His numbers were looking great for a few days and I was considering posting to see if we should keep holding at .5u, but today his numbers have jumped higher than what we’ve been seeing the past few days. Two days ago I almost posted concerned about a potential early AM hypo when he dropped quick and hit 67 at +3 and now this! :S
No food change, no life changes or extra stress, but it has been warmer here the past few days and I’ve noticed all my cats have slowed down on eating - not stopped or a concerning pace by any means, they’re just no longer immediately scarfing all the food as soon as it’s put down.
Is it typical with Lantus to see higher numbers randomly? I’m always sure to check to make sure his insulin actually got into him and I’m confident it wasn’t a miss this morning.
What could cause this? I’m not concerned but should I adjust anything?
