I just realized I started switching kitty's name with the date in my last few threads. I have no idea why. Little brain blip I guess, SORRY!

If the numbers are going down at +10 what does that mean in terms of what I should expect tonight?

Edit/update: never mind, I guess I know! 110 at +2 is the fastest drop we have ever had! HELP!

I don't see that you updated since the +2

What are Jessi's numbers doing now?

I actually made a mistake, the first number was at +1. I updated the numbers now.

We're in the 60s on the Libre. I just tried to get a blood test and failed. She struggles really hard. I don't want to stress her too much and I don't want to hurt her or myself so I stopped. Still working on that.

Libre may be giving some wonky reads, especially since it hiccuped earlier today which usually means it is on its way out. But I am feeding her and watching closely.

Feeding some MC after getting the LO reading on the Libre. It doesn't give numbers after a certain threshold, I don't remember what it is, maybe 50

numbers going up now, and I'm going to bed for a few hours before next shot time, I guess we managed fine on our own tonight. Hope we don't drop quite so soon next cycle...

The dive she had this morning could have been attributed to the tail end of the previous dose. Check her 30 minutes after you shoot to see if she's still dropping, some cats will dip late in a cycle and sometimes is carried into the next cycle. You won't really know until you see a pattern over the course of time.

Thanks Deb!

Sadly, the sensor has started dying. It is giving sporadic reads, just enough to have an idea of where we're at, but not always on demand. If you check out the spreadsheet, AM numbers are much more moderate today. Lots of blues, no greens. At .75 units this seems to be more typical for her so the sudden flat highs followed by the sudden fall, yeah, I don't know where that's coming from although Wendy suggested she was bouncing from a previous low of 100. So maybe the dip at the end of the AM cycle was the bounce breaking and then that just led to a sharp fall lasting into the night?

From what I've seen so far, Jessi doesn't normally dip late in the cycle, sometimes she dips early in the cycle, if anything, but when things are normal and calm, she dips around typical nadir time +5 +6 +7.

I have to always consider the sensor wonkiness too especially since it's known to give low numbers right before dying. One of the downsides of the Libre.
