Hi all,
We had a nice am cycle yesterday and an ok one last night.
Let’s see how she responds today.
Will be a bit hectic today. I’m working from home. But several contractors coming.

Painter is doing some touch up work and then 2 doors.
Window guy coming to give estimates on a few windows (ugh).

Internet/computer guy (not sure what to call him) coming since some issues with “speed” and such with internet not being up to “speed”

Plumber coming to replace a sump pump (before we have a problem, being proactive.) We have lived through basement flood before, a true nightmare.
So I need to move Ivy out of her room at some point to keep her out of the way.
All electronics and the “hub” for the house are in her kitty condo room.

Indeed, so many things today at your house!
Hope Ivy stays afloat and no one bothers Her Highness's day!
There's always one thing after another, though, isn't there.
When the new washer came, they found a bit of leaking from the washer faucets - a plumber is coming tomorrow for us.
Those faucets are super old, so they needed to be replaced anyway.

I wasn't in the forum yesterday so I'm catching up meow but looks like she had a nice AM cycle and decent PM cycle. At least you could sleep through the night.

Today wow it's gonna be so busy at your house. I hope all the contractors and others don't stress her out too much and hopefully they do their jobs fast.

Hi Alicia, it's been better than I expeted. The painter actually rescheduled to tomorrow. I was quite relieved. Wasn't sure where to put Miss Ivy. The internet guy is here now, so once he's done, we are clear for the day.
And guess what, she's actually in my closet, as you guessed!

Hi Kit, I am so glad your washer issue was resolved. Good thing to get those old faucets replaced BEFORE there's a leak! It's good they found the issue prior to a problem.
Ivy is doing ok so far, hiding in my closet, enjoying her day.

Hi Karolina,
Yesterday was a little active, today pretty quiet and she's hiding. Looking forward to having everyone out of here soon!
Then tomorrow the painters...Oh well. Maybe then it will be back to the quiet we all enjoy so I can work uninterrupted and Ivy can decide where to hang out in peace.

You are right, Alicia. She likes the quiet closet when it’s busy here. Only time it’s a problem is if I need to test her. Then it’s a huge battle to get her out.
She was very cozy today chilling with mom’s clothes

Ivy is so lucky she has a room on her own! I am sure she will use the time well for a nap and cat's stuff.

She loves her room. It’s very quiet. Lots of blankets, food, water, her cozy bed, litter boxes.
And we are in the room next to her watching tv at night to keep her company.
She usually prefers to stay in her room though

Thanks, Deb. You’re very sweet. She is lucky she was found walking down a city street and a woman scooped her up and then I found out about her. And I was mourning my prior cat for 4 years and was ready for another one.
She’s been the center of our home ever since.
I think all of our kitties are lucky we are their pawrents. Or we wouldn’t be here looking for help and giving it back to each other.
