Good morning all! I've been gone a while, but I've been really busy with a death in the family, more family emergencies, work, and finishing my degree this semester. However, I have not faltered with Marley's care even if there are some days of minimal testing and out-of-state travel to care for family.

I just wanted to check in and see if we have been on the right track. With a history of failed reductions, we were a bit more decisive about when to reduce, but I think it's been working out really well and we've had several weeks of consistent greens! The last day has been high, but I believe it's due to a bounce and looking at his past data, I expect him to clear it this evening.

I miss you all! Still doing the absolute best I can given my circumstances.
 
Hi Mallory. Sorry for your loss. You are doing a good job with Marley. He’s definitely still bouncy but cheating them pretty quickly. He’s a long term diabetic now so when possible you will reduce after three drops into the 40’s or one under 40. Nice to see a condo from you. :bighug:​
 
Thank you! I was trying to hold at 2 drops below 50, but when he dropped below 40 I would definitely get a little hesitant. I've been more comfortable with his drops and noticed that if I wait for at least 2 lows, he takes the reductions well. I'll move that to 3 just to be sure, though.

Should I move back up to 1.25 if he doesn't clear the bounce today since he only dropped 2 times (even though one was below 40) at 1.25U?

I've been very happy with how he's been clearing them! And my spreadsheet is looking sooooooooo green.

Whenever there is a drop under 40 you reduce even if a long term. So that reduction was earned. I want to look at your ss again. Be back. You are doing great btw.

I would give the bounce a little longer to clear and then see how he likes 1.0. This is only the third cycle. It will likely clear today or tonight I suspect but can take up to 6 cycles.
