7/20 Jack 149@AMPS-day 2 on 8.5u

Yesterday was the best day Jack had so far on insulin. He showed a bunch of blue numbers, and this morning we woke up to 149, which is his lowest reading yet. Of course, he bounced to 233 three hours later, but I'm glad the numbers are finally coming down. Maybe this is the magic dose. Still too early for blood test results, this is going to be a long week of waiting I guess. Oh, and my ex was nice and came to the house and put in the monster air conditioner, so I'm really starting to think that excessive heat makes their numbers go up. I noticed the same thing with Mopem a few years ago, and when the AC went in and the house cooled off, his numbers went down too. Anyone else notice a correlation with heat and high BG?

Anyone else notice a correlation with heat and high BG?

I noticed the same with Ti-Mousse who has higher numbers when it's very hot and humid! Pépé's numbers don't seem to be affected by hot weather! Each cat is different....
