I apologize for not posting yesterday; it was an absolutely crazy work day. I didn't get to test Jack too many times either, and I'm not happy that he had lower numbers on 8.5 units than he does on 9. That just makes no sense to me. Still no results on his insulin resistant blood tests; so we are still just plugging along, trying to get him to eat wet food, increasing his dose every 7 days, running the AC, and praying that something, at some point, brings his numbers down. I guess barring any drastic changes or information from the vet clinic we will be going to 9.5 units on Monday.

Have a good weekend, all, and thanks for everything.

@Wendy&Neko

Christine, the unfortunate nature of insulin resistance is that what looked like at OK dose at one point, may soon no longer be. Once you get the blood test results, we may have some answers which means we can tweak the dosing strategy. Results should be in at the vet today if it made it to MSU in time. Maybe call the vet to see if they have them in?

@Diane Tyler's Mom You don't need to tag me for the higher dosed kitties, I will get to them all eventually if I am around.

Ok, thanks for your input. I will call tomorrow (Monday) and see if they are in. I can't remember where I got 7-14 days from, but tomorrow would be 14 days, so they should be there. Thanks again.
