This oppressive heat and worse...the humidity....is making life miserable in my house. No one wants to cooperate, Jack's numbers are trailing higher, he is getting pickier with what he will eat, and my mood is going south. At least it's raining, and therefore, quiet. The humidity is just awful. We broke down and threw an A/C in the window at the top of the stairs last night.

So far it's keeping the damp warmth out of the house, but its also cloudy, so who knows if it will work all summer.

Try to stay positive Chris, I have been in your position before, it can only get better.

Hope you stay cool and dry (drier). We are having dry heat. It's HOOOOT. The only thing that is enjoying the heat is my tomato plants
