7/30 Mr Kitty Update

I'm glad he's doing so much better!
Mr Kitty you can sleep on mama's hair all you want, tell her I said so :p

Just sharing a quick update - another chest tap today, they only pulled 30mL out! So the fluid formed at 25% the rate it's been the past few weeks. We'll skip next week, and go again the following week.

Overall he's doing really well, out and about, purring, sleeping on my hair, eating well.

Oh my goodness… this is just the BEST news in the world!! It’s actually working! I bet even the vet had his doubts! Go Mr. Kitty. You are healing.
I had turned my phone off for the night to go to sleep, but I thought… I haven’t seen an update from Melissa yet on Mr. Kitty for several days…. Just let me peek … or I will post on her old condo to ask how he is. And then I searched and found your post. This is soooo good. You must be happy! How are you and your husband and the kids? Is your MIL able to be there now?

Yes we've just been so busy! With Mr Kitty on the mend and the rest of us back to health, we're playing catch up big time on things around the house and yard. MIL came today and watched the kids while I got some errands and the vet trip done (I love them to death, but so much less stress sans kids).

I was hoping for good news given his overall demeanor this past week, but with baited breath. As long as he does ok this next week, we'll skip next Friday and take him in in 2 weeks time. Will continue the rutin and low fat diet; he's being a little difficult with the food. He wants his Friskies, not the Tiki Cat. But we're making it work. He's got his mischievous little kitten eyes back.

I did forget to mention - the fluid was more typical thinner chyle this week. So not thick and gelatinous like it's been. All improvements I will gladly take! I won't breathe easy until fluid is completely gone/negligible.
