Yes, that certainly was a low green (29). Did you notice him acting any differently?

Did you recheck the 29 right after? Looks like he came up easily. Congrats on the reduction.

Typically when I come out to the kitchen at ANY time to check his sugar here he comes. Last night I actually had to pick him up from the couch. Once he realized food was happening he perked right up. Lol Other than that, he seemed fine. I’ve noticed he gets more sleepy/less alert when he’s low.

I checked him every 20 minutes once I realized he was at 29. He seems to be a little carb sensitive. The last few times he was under 50 I gave him 15% carb because that was enough to bring him up. Since he was under 40 I decided to feed 20%

Susie acts the same way when she is low. Just more laid back and lazy.

+5 67 should I start feeding MC or HC anticipating he's going to keep dropping?

Hopefully he will settle down tomorrow once the 1.5U depot is out of the picture.

On the other hand...if he is determined to race down the dosing ladder.... :D

Hi Bhooma, I told Heather some mc would be fine since he is close to his nadir. Would you please advise what she should do now.

Hi Adrienne, Shooter is on Levemir, so his nadir is later that that of Lantus. Around +7, it seems. He is closer to the his nadir now and she should be abe to keep him going on LC.
MC earlier in the cycle was needed tonight.

Heather had sent me a pm so that was before I checked for other posts from her. I asked her if she minded if I reached out to members with more experience in the pm. Now could you tell me when I can go to bed, I am crashing from playing all day with an 8 yr old. :D I know I will have to wait another hour it’s just :banghead: me being tired. AGAIN :)

No you don't! Dolly's cycle has been pretty flat tonight. Feed, leave out food and hit the hay! :joyful:

I think the coast is clear. He is 62 @ +7. I think it's ok for me to go to bed now.

Sorry, Heather. I did not see this until this morning and really can't give advice because I am fairly new. By the way, I am rarely on this site after about 7:00 at night.
