Hello all. Just a brief check-in from Fred.
Fred's IM vet from AMC in NYC went over his spreadsheet last week. She basically said, "keep doing what you're doing". She advised maintaining basically the same dose, as he does have low points.
I just wish there were something to do about his awful pre-shot numbers, especially in the AM. Clearly, he does get down mid/later end of the cycle. I don't know if he's bouncing by the end of the cycle, or if the Lev does not have enough staying power.
I know that the first answer people may think of is "more insulin". That may get him lower mid-cycle, but it makes the bounces all the more wretched. He already has enough trouble with the peaks and valleys-the drastic drops and climbs are tough on him.
Also, please keep in mind I use AlphaTrack. Blues on AlphaTrack are very often green on a human meter. His spreadsheet would likely look a lot different with a human meter! I've been thinking I should switch for a week, to make myself feel better. ;-)
