Good morning:)

Butch had a much calmer night. He stood in the yellow and blues, no diving into the low greens. PMPS meal was 5% carb with a 5% carb snack. Butch was giving me a hard time with eating his morning's meal, so he settled for 4% carb. Hopefully he will glide into the greens today.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day and safe surfing! :cat:

@Staci & Ivy Hi Staci. Butch's Libre expires tomorrow so he has appointment tomorrow for replacement. Unfortunately, it fell off after his AMPS test today. Do you use adhesive wipes to support the Libre from falling off? I was thinking of buying the Skin Glu and Skin Glee that was mentioned on the FB Libre support group.

Hi Madeline, I use only skin tac (which is actually a moisture barrier, not an adhesive). That’s all I use. No adhesive or glue.

I’m sorry your sensor fell off.

What I’ve actually been doing since I do it myself is I end the sensor one day earlier than the 14 days, if the sensor actually lasts that long.
What I find is that the last day can give you wonky readings. If I actually get to day 13, What I notice is the fur has grown back so much that I can only assume it is pushing the sensor out, thus could create less than perfect readings.
So I figure 13 days is close enough to 14. I’d rather be a little more on the safe side. So maybe that’s something you might want to consider is have your appointment on day 13 instead of trying to get the full 14 days and that way maybe you’re ahead of it falling off. It’s just a thought obviously, it’s your call. :bighug:
