Good morning! Blues and greens day! Hope she drops a little lower. Have I ever mentioned how much of a brat Cassie is? lol. When we first got her as a stray, she was very lovey and sweet. Then I assume because of the diabetes it changed her personality a lot! I always thought it might go back if her diabetes got under control. She goes through bouts of being really sweet and cuddly, but more often than that she's the kinda kitty who will bite your shins if you walk past. My favorite thing she does, is she smacks you if you walk past her. Not hard or with claws, but just a "Hey you're in my bubble!" smack. Lol, thank goodness she doesn't have teeth though and her claws are very dull. We'd be in for it!

Sorry to hear she's got such a 'tude! Someone was recently talking on her or maybe it was FB about their cat being mean...finally got them into the vet and as it turned out the cat had some kind of disjointed hip condition - very painful! Who knew??? Not much in the way of symptoms or any way to tell there was something going on with the cat, but her personality was nasty...and I think they were wondering if it had anything to do with the insulin...maybe look into other causes of her personality deteriorating???

Luci purrs more now than ever before - she never was much of a lapcat and didn't care much for us touching her...she was very independent and bossy..now she purrs when I pick her up for tests and shots..it's an amazing purrsonality change I never thought I'd see.

Otherwise her numbers are looking pretty darn good these days! Good job you two!!

Wow! I wonder if that could be what Cassie has. Cassie's diabetes went untreated long enough for her to develop the awkward gait in the back legs, but it seemed to have went away. Of course that could have had lasting permanent damage. :( I also thought maybe with her bad teeth that was causing the bad attitude, but nope, still a brat months after surgery lol. That's so precious about Luci being a lovebug!! :cat: Cassie can be like that once in a blue moon when she's begging, but typically she goes with whacking my face to get my attention. Lol.

just smack and bite him back...LOL:p JK
Have a great evening

LOL I honestly wonder what Cassie's reaction would be!! I'm a softie though, I can barely scold them with my voice when they do something naughty. :joyful:

I had a kitty named Khajiit, who had a HORRIBLE attitude. She was the LOVIEST kitty in the world. Seriously, lapcat, purred constantly, wanted cuddles, slept on your chest, the whole shebang. But one wrong move or a change in your tone of voice and she suddenly whacked you and clawed you, and gave a big hiss and ran off. Unlike Cassie, Khajiit's claws were razor sharp. I can't tell you how many scars I have from her, but I love them now as I had to euthanize her a few months ago for severe kidney failure and they remind me of her every day. She was a "dilute tortie," and apparently tortoiseshell cats have a reputation for their personality called "tortitude." I can definitely see why! LOL. Here she is from a few months ago cuddling up with me. She hated all our other cats except Cassie, Cassie was the only kitty she ever trusted.

Oh I feel so horrible, I should have tested more. I can't believe her PMPS is 67. Lowest ever I think! Oops! I remember someone saying she nadirs later on bounce-breaking cycles. I meant to get a +8 but totally forgot. Ugh! Sorry Cassie!! :(

We finally had a big monsoon storm right as I tested +1 and Cassie was so scared! She didn't want to get tested. :( Hopefully she's calm for her +2 in a little bit.
