Is flaky skin and excessive shedding a side effect of diabetes or insulin therapy? I've been seeing big flakes of skin on her back right above her tail. I pet and scratch her there and she goes crazy for it. Wondering if this is normal or if maybe she just hasn't been able to groom herself properly since shes been sick....... Gross pic of skin and hair attached. This is just from two passes of petting her.
