Amps 88 Libre
Good morning,
We’ve had a green amps today and last night on her Libre. Overnight was a blue cycle after a yellow/ blue am cycle yesterday.
Her cycles are a lot flatter lately. But she’s not been going very low so she’s not bouncing up to Mars as a result. (I have to temper that observation with the fact that her SS numbers are from a Libre, which for her runs higher than a handheld meter).
So still trying to figure out if we do an increase she will go lower then probably bounce higher and her cycles won’t be so flat.
I have to chew on that to make a decision.

Errand day today if she cooperates and out to dinner tonight and tomorrow. Will feed higher carbs tonight for her safety.

Have a safe day everyone. Have a calm Friday :cat:

Good morning Staci.
Great start!
I see what you mean - Ivy has been really consistent with blues and yellows. Only a few limes and no pinks lately.
I found it interesting that she's been more consistent with 3.75U than 3.5U.
Maybe Ivy's system is getting more comfortable with insulin?
Whether to go up or not, that's a hard call. She just had her thyroid med doubled too. Will that affect her BGs at all?
Maybe tag the experienced members here to see what they think?
Hope you get to do all the errands and enjoy the dinner tonight!
Have a lovely day, Staci :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Hi Staci, very nice cycle so far. I hope you can run your errands today and go out to dinner tonight and tomorrow night. Surf safely pretty girl :bighug::bighug::bighug::cat:

Hi Staci,

so happy to see Ivys cycles became a lot flatter. So all your hard work is finally paying out! And I think it feels so much nicer for Ivy not to be on the bg-rollercoaster but to surf nice and gently.

As you know I don't have any advice about weather to increase or not but I liked the thought Kit had, that maybe it can be good not to change too many things at once.

I hope you enjoy your evening out and please don't talk about "dinner" in front of Ivy. You know what otherwise would happen. :):bighug::bighug::bighug:

Hi Kit, it’s interesting that she’s become very level lately. But she’s not gone really low. I wonder the same things.
And not sure if the thyroid medication will cause any difference in her BG.
Such thoughtful questions.
Thank you for kicking the ideas around with me.
I hope you also have a nice day and a calm night. I hope Mikan is behaving today!!
Sending hugs to all of you :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Hi Diane, Well it was nice earlier and then she seems to either bounced from some lower green this am or just lost duration today ;)
Got my errands done so that’s good. I hope you and Tyler are having a good day and are feeling well.
Hugs to both of you for a calm night :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Hi Heike, thanks for the warm support. It’s appreciated so much. I’m sure you are right. She must feel better being more balanced I assume.
You’re so right. I made sure not to tell her our evening plans. Or for sure she would dive right away! Shhh

I’m thinking of you and Binie and sending lots of healing wishes. I hope the meds help with the infection. Sending prayers and hugs to you both for a calm night :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:
