How on earth do you accurately measure anything smaller than 0.25?! I have no half unit markings as it is on my syringes... What is a drop dose? When you go down to once a day?
 
Yeah, in the absence of callipers, you just eyeball approx half the 0.25U dose as best as you can.
The other option is to count drops and that takes some practice. You rotate the plunger to squeeze out equal sized drops and see how many drops you get in 0.25U.

The drop dose is the easiest to measure. You push the plunger of the empty syringe in fully, keep it pressed and insert in the pen. Let go of the pressure on the plunger and it will draw a drop.

And it's usually always twice a day dosing with Lantus since cats do not get 24 hour duration on account of their fast metabolism.
