Ash, I was just catching up on your past condos. You are a super star handling all this. Metronidazole is horribly bitter. I doubt the liquid could be compounded to taste okay. When I gave it I put it in gel capsules and made sure the fingers that touched the pill did not touch the capsule until I washed my hands. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Im going to be honest, I have NOT given it to her yet. She stopped vomiting from the cerenia, and the fortiflora is making her poop get a tiny bit harder. I am going to give her about 5 more days to see if the FF will do the trick .. because she LOVES it! i finally got lucky with a supplement!

But i got some plastic to put down to be prepared for all the pooping if i need to use it. I have read reviews on the FF and there are multiple 16 yr old cats that healed up just from that daily.
So, i know im supposed to do what vet says, but she is still soooo tiny and boney....i don't want to clear out every single nutrient she DOES have. She is eating very well now im glad to report! And trying to keep August in the laundry room with her while she poops everywhere is going to be practically impossible!

Im no superstar tho, im going a lil but crazy i think. fighting with hubby alot because im stressed...poor guy.

I Reported to my Aunt yesterday when i helped her shower and she was like....what about the OTHER cat that was out there (not the ferals).... im like, uumm, she wasn't there and I couldn't possibly keep 3 locked up in a laundry room together anyway! Geeeeezzz!!

But i feel horrible for her tho, she is disabled, diabetic, elderly, and she just lost EVERYTHING! Now living in a distant relatives house while he is in a nursing home! the situation is just so insane. My sister lives out there with her, but i don't think she is very safe. And she is now 35min away from both me and my other Aunt (who have been helping her weekly).....

I gotta stop and count my blessings because I am totally blessed. I need to look at this as an OPPORTUNITY to help these cats and not a burden.

Augustus survived. He is actually a pretty tough lil dude.
He got his nails clipped and im so much more comfy with them like that!
He is being super sweet. and now he is napping. gotta go check in lil bit to make sure he is not licking.

Ares is smelling me big time...i have August 's pee all over me (remnants only an animal can smell of course)

Got his bunghole in there big time, but im sure we all here are use to seeing those. But noboy has to click it!!! im just gross

poor guys anesthesia wore off, he looks like he is in so much pain. I can't stand it

There HAS to be something i can give him for pain.....:(
 
Hi Ash wow he had some set :pIm glad you found out why Ares BG has been high. Well at least you know the reason why.
I'm sad that August is in pain, Call the vet tomorrow and see if they will give you something. I'm bglad to hear Sophie stopped vomiting and is eating.
I hope your night will be some what quiet :bighug::bighug::bighug::cat:
